CEO & President — Mansoor Ghanavati

Mansoor

Having been in the ultrasound industry for over twenty years, I have seen many changes in ultrasound technology and customer needs.

One aspect of the business that has stayed constant for me is being a solution provider for physicians.

This has been demonstrated through the years with our success in ultrasound markets, and now that we are the exclusive partner for Toshiba and can also provide our customers with new Siemens products, we are strongly positioned to achieve my goal of becoming the ultimate ultrasound resource to private practice physicians.

Vice President, Business Development — Paul Werp

Paul Werp

Paul Werp has over 20 years of business development experience and an extensive track record. His career highlights include a role as Vice President/General Manager at ST Ericsson where he integrated and reshaped NXP & ST's Connectivity business into a customer focused organization. Simultaneously, Paul built an Indian based software and customer support team for platform solutions, customer support and development across Android, Windows Phone, and RTOS to scale the business. In an earlier role as the Business Director of TI's Mobile Connectivity Solutions Group, Paul won over $750M of new business and while working as the worldwide director for TI's Cellular Systems group from 2000-2004 he grew their business from zero to $700M. Prior to joining TI in 1995, Paul was a product marketing engineer for Hewlett Packard's RF semiconductor division.

National Director of Sales — Neil Walendy

Neil Walendy

Neil Walendy has a thorough working knowledge of ultrasound ownership in the different disciplines of medicine within the private practice arena and has a reputation for taking a highly consultative approach with his customer base.

 

Vein & Vascular Market Sales Manager  — Jerry Michel

Jerry Michel

With over 25 years in the ultrasound industry, I believe I’m able to provide professional counsel to physicians and to diagnostic ultrasound imaging facilities, as well as those who are experienced users.

I provide our customers with peace of mind in their decision to work with United Medical Instruments, Inc.   I have the ability, the desire, and the resources to provide our users with the very best in customer service and after sales support.

Director of HR — Teri Stephenson

Teri

With over 10 years experience in the ultrasound industry, It is a pleasure being a resource and liaison for such a great staff here at United Medical Instruments! As Director of HR, I assist with administrative policies, health insurance guidance, compensation packages and performance reviews, my primary objective being to help ensure the staff is operating at peak performance so that our customers are well served.

National Marketing Manager — Jeanette Ashby

I have worked as a certified Sonographer for over 10 years. I bring an extensive clinical background with certifications as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), and Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPHS).   I’m well versed in a variety of exams including non-invasive Abdominal, OB/GYN, Breast, non-invasive Venous, Arterial, Venous Insufficiency Mappings, and ultrasound guided procedures. 

With my knowledge I have carved a niche in the Phlebology market.  I have parlayed my clinical skills into marketing  as a National Marketing Manager; responsible for driving marketing campaigns, developing company collateral, coordinating tradeshow logistics, and providing ongoing product training for sales, service and customers.

My primary objective is to provide the training for our service and sales staff to meet our customer needs and ensure that we provide the clinical knowledge to operate the systems we sell and service.

Service Operations Manager — Dennis Raybould

Dennis RaybouldI have over 39 years of experience in the medical industry which I served as a service engineer, technical support, management, quality and operations.  

My primary objective is to provide world class customer service to our customers. We provide our field service engineers with quality parts, documentation, training and technical support to accomplish this goal.  

United Medical Instruments, Inc. will continue to be innovative and provide service that meets and exceeds our customer’s expectations.

Operations Manager — James Howe

James HoweI have over 20 years’ of experience in manufacturing and testing of ultrasound equipment.  I know what it takes to build and maintain equipment to meet our customer needs.  Our number one priority is customer satisfaction which is based on the quality of our new and refurbished systems that we provide to our customers.  We have tracking systems in place to monitor our system performance and repair quality for all our customers. 

We will continue to improve our process under United Medical Instruments, Inc. and ISO standards. 

Our true results are measured by our customers purchasing our products again and our retention of service and service contracts.

United Medical Instruments has taken a physician--‐centric approach to running our company.

Our company vision is to evolve fully as the premier resource for physicians providing them with compact ultrasound equipment while working within their budget, servicing their systems and transducers should the need arise, and offering ongoing support whether through online system training or continued education.

Private practice physicians have a partner in UMI who understands their challenges and is here to work through them so that they can grow their practice and focus on what they do best, while we assist them with what we do best.
