UMI Full Service System Contract covers one ultrasound system and one transducer/probe.
Our Probe Pool Program works like this:
For each ultrasound system covered by a UMI Full Service Contract you have, the ability to have one of your transducers/probes covered. If you have 6 ultrasound systems covered, you have up to 6 transducers/probes also covered by Full Service Contract. It does not matter on what system you replace the probe (TEE and 3D, or special probes are not included in the pool).
Once the 6 probes are replaced because of failure within the one year contract you would then have to pay for a probe replacement after the 6th probe.
