Innovation. Highly Moving Performance.
The compact GE Vivid i delivers superb raw data image quality for cardiac and vascular imaging. New breakthroughs now let you assess LV function and cardiac performance more clearly and effectively than ever before.
Below is a generalized description of this systems technology, specif‌ications, features and options. The below may not reflect the features and options available on units in our inventory.

Vivid i builds on the many industry leading features and technologies of Vivd i with more performance, new quantitative analysis tools and a wider range of applications.

  • An optional i2 Performance Package enhances image quality with several innovations migrated from the Vivid 7 Dimension.
  • Tissue Velocity lmaging* (TVI) and Tissue Tracking*
(TT) visualize and quantify LV function.
  • SmartStress*, a stress echo protocol, provides image acquisition, review, wall-segment scoring and reporting.
  • Five new probes — including a 5S cardiac transducer and a 9T TEE transducer for pediatric exams — further extend Vivid is wide range of applications
  • IMT analysis package enables clinicians to quickly measure the carotid artery’s intima-media thickness.
  • EchoPAC‘s advanced quantitative analysis tools can now be used with Vivid is raw data.
  • Perform robust, comprehensive diagnostic exams wherever they’re needed- And get complete, real-time diagnostic results – anywhere, even outside the echo lab
    (*Requires the i2 Performance Package)

Continuous Innovation
With its i2 Performance Package option, Vivid i offers enhanced image quality, faster image optimization, and increased productivity for novice and skilled users alike.
The i2 package includes:
  • Speckle Reduce Imaging (SRI) uses an adaptive, real-time software algorithm to improve image quality.
  • Coded Phase Inversion (CPI) enhances contrast imaging with excellent sensitivity, resolution and tissue suppression
  • Compound imaging processes cross-beam images to enhance border definition, reduce acoustic artifact and improve contrast resolution.
  • Automatic Spectrum Optimization (A80) provides optimization of PW or CW spectrum scale and baseline display for increased productivity and ease of use.
  • Harmonics on all high-frequency probes further enhance image quality
