UMI Ultrasound offers a top-of-the-line, fully comprehensive ultrasound service program the provides the greatest protection of your ultrasound equipment investment and the ultimate peace-of-mind. We call it our Full Service Protection Plan. Customers that purchase this plan want protection against unexpected expenses and the peace-of-mind that comes with knowing you're fully covered.
UMI's Full Service Protection Plan Features Include:
- Guaranteed response times and priority handling to resolve equipment issues and get you up-and-running again. See the table below for specific details.
- Complete cost of replacement parts.
- All labor and travel costs during regular business hours (8:00am-5:00pm).
- 24X7 access to technical engineering support.
- Two American College of Radiology (ACR)-compliant preventative maintenance with safety inspections performed during the contract year. Each PM includes a complete diagnostic performance evaluation and necessary corrective maintenance to bring the ultrasound system into full alignment. Adhering to regularly scheduled preventative maintenance programs will keep your ultrasound equipment performing at its best.
- All Service records maintained in accordance with prevailing authorities (ACR and HRS).
- Hard copy documentation and electronic service reports are provided to maintain proper equipment and support records.
Note: There are a few exceptions to the coverage outlined in Full Service Protection Plan including, 3D/4D probes and TEE transducers will be quoted individually, all peripheral devices (DVD, VCRs and printers) are not covered.

UMI pricing is competitive with other third party service providers. The Full Service Protection Plan pricing varies based on the number of systems you put under contract, as well as the ultrasound manufacturer and system model. UMI's service plan pricing is subject to change.
